Amigo, Male, 2 years old, 38 lbs.
Amigo 2yr, neutered male, 35 lb
Background Story
A young student was helping her mother in the noodle shop that she runs. Around noontime, The student saw Amigo laying quietly by one of the dinner table. She assumed that Amigo must belong to someone, but when it came to closing time Amigo was still there waiting patiently.
Upon closer observation the student realized that Amigo looked quite thin and was obviously hungry so she gave Amigo a bowl of food. Four more bowls later and Amigo was finally full.
When the student bent down to pat Amigo’s head she felt dried blood and then saw that he was covered in fleas with obvious flea marks on his tummy. Then she saw a very deep cut on his foreleg. She felt so sorry for Amigo that she quickly got on her scooter and took Amigo to a vet. Amigo climbed up on the scooter and sat very well all the way to the vet. This made the student believe that Amigo must have belonged to someone before.
The vet cleaned and stitched up Amigo’s wound and also cleaned his teeth. A blood test was also done and also did the necessary flea treatment. While Amigo was recuperating, he got to take walks on a leash and even visited an office, where he got along with everyone. Amigo has returned to good health.
Amigo is in a boarding place in Redwood City, because we don’t have foster home available for him. He is doing well with the dogs in the boarding place, but nothing compare to having a forever home.
