I am Sunny and I used to live with 8 rescued dogs. I was very close to my rescuer and got along with everyone in my family really well. Since I was such a well behaved dog, I was one of my rescuer’s favorites! I got to sleep on her bed every night! However, as my rescuer began to take in more dogs, I got really sad. I missed the attention she used to show me. I started barking to get her attention, but I felt like she still wasn’t giving me enough. I felt really insecure with all the other dogs (27) around me trying to fight for her attention too, so I started to show aggression towards them. My rescuer became tired of my behavior and decided to have my vocal cords taken out so I can never bark again. He kept me locked up in a cage. When I started whimpering in my cage because I was lonely, my rescuer just put a muzzle on me. From that moment on, I have now spent most of my time in a cage Life has been really hard for me since I love people so much and I like to play with other dogs too. I miss to be able to go out for a walk and play with other dogs too. Can you please help me fulfill my wish?
We found Sunny a home, unfortunately the lady that adopted Sunny is facing a job changing situation. She will be traveling a lot more often and won't be able to care for Sunny anymore.
